Hi,
I am unable to convert email messages or folders into PDF files. I used to be able to select the convert to PDF button on the acrobat tab or use the menu path "Adobe PDF" -- "Convert to PDF" to archive my email messages. (I have Acrobat Pro 8.12 and Outlook2007 running on Windows XP.) Lately, whenever I attempt to convert an email message, I get the following message in the error logfile:
Requested: 1,
Converted to PDF: 0,
Skipped [Already in PDF]: 0,
Skipped [PDFMaker failed to convert]: 1
Details of Email to PDF conversion:
Failed to Convert:
From: HBS Working Knowledge, Subject: Newsletter: Managing the Medici String Quartet, Date: 9/10/2007, Status: Item failed to convert.
I dont know if this is related or not, but around the same time, the convert to PDF button in IExplorer 7stopped working. I get the following error message: Could not access Adobes Capture facility. Acrobat may be busy or waiting for input. I have Office 2003 Acrobat 6 at home and I am able to convert web pages perfectly (I don't use Outlook at home).
Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening? I dont think this error started when I first moved to version 8.
TIA
